I had the pleasure of getting to know Pete through the Boulder Hotel Motel Association. We worked on many committees and boards together. Pete was passionate about everything and found ways to make things happen when no one else could. As everyone knows, Pete was most passionate about skiing and sharing his love of skiing with everyone. The van with the million ski racks on it was our mode of transportation to A-Basin. Pete welcomed anyone and everyone to come hitch a ride and spend the day on the slopes. After a full day of skiing, Pete would fire up the grill, pass around some crazy concoction of spirits and beach day at A-Basin would officially begin. Keep in mind this was regardless of weather conditions. Those were some of the best ski days I ever had. Although Pete will forever be missed, he will forever live in our hearts.
